The verdict

Trades sit in a real Bybit sub-account, so fills, funding rates and the order book are the live exchange rather than a simulation. That single design choice answers most of the objections traders raise about prop firms.

What works

  • Orders route to a genuine Bybit book — real liquidity, real funding
  • Allocation scales to $400,000
  • Profit split reaches 90% on the higher tiers
  • Registered Estonian entity with named directors
  • Full altcoin perps range, not just BTC and ETH

What does not

  • Entry price is higher than the cheapest firms
  • Exchange dependency: a Bybit outage is your outage
  • Rules are stricter on news trading than most competitors
  • Scaling plan requires consecutive profitable months

How the evaluation works

A two-phase evaluation on a live Bybit sub-account. The profit targets are conventional for the category; what is not conventional is that you are trading the real exchange book from the first minute of phase one.

The rules that matter

Because the account is a genuine exchange sub-account, the rules read differently from the rest of the table: funding payments hit your balance, liquidation is a real exchange mechanic, and slippage is whatever the book gives you.

The firm restricts trading around scheduled macro events more tightly than most competitors. If your edge is event-driven, read that clause carefully before you buy.

If any of that terminology is unfamiliar, our guide to the rules that fail most traders covers trailing drawdown, consistency ratios and weekend clauses in detail.

Payouts and profit split

HyroTrader advertises 1 to 3 days to payout with a split reaching 90% on higher tiers, and funds up to $400,000 — the joint-largest allocation we list.

The scaling plan requires consecutive profitable months rather than a single good run, which slows the path to the top allocation but filters out one-trade wonders.

Platform and execution

This is the firm's defining feature. Orders route into a real Bybit sub-account, so fills, depth and funding rates are the live market rather than a broker's synthetic feed. Anyone who has watched a simulated crypto feed diverge from the exchange during a liquidation cascade will understand why that matters.

The dependency runs both ways: when Bybit degrades, your account degrades with it, and you inherit whatever regional restrictions the exchange applies.

What you actually pay

$129 at the entry tier and $269 for $100,000. Mid-priced for the category, and the exchange-native execution is what you are paying the premium for.

Who it suits

Traders who care about execution quality above all else, and anyone whose strategy has been distorted by synthetic pricing at another firm. Less suitable if you need to trade macro events or want the cheapest possible first attempt.

What we still need to verify

Open items on this review

Every figure above is taken from HyroTrader's published terms, not from a completed payout test of our own. Advertised windows and delivered windows are not the same thing, and in this industry the gap is where the trouble lives.

This review is upgraded to a tested review once a full withdrawal cycle is logged. Until then, treat the payout figure as the firm's claim rather than our finding, and read how we test for what that upgrade involves.

Spotted something out of date? Firms change terms without notice. Tell us and we log the correction on this page with a date.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this page are affiliate links: if you buy a challenge after clicking one, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra and it does not move a firm up or down our table — scores come from a fixed published formula applied before any commercial conversation. Full disclosure.

Risk warning

Trading leveraged crypto derivatives carries a high risk of loss. Challenge fees are generally non-refundable and most participants never reach a payout. Nothing on this site is financial advice, and we are not a licensed adviser, broker or prop firm.

Frequently asked questions

Is HyroTrader legitimate?

HyroTrader operates from Estonia and has been trading for 4 years. Registration and published terms are verifiable, but no review can guarantee a firm will pay you: the only durable evidence is a record of withdrawals delivered to traders who are not affiliates. Ask in independent communities before you commit.

How much does the HyroTrader challenge cost?

$269 for a $100,000 account at list price, with the entry tier starting at $129. Discount codes are common in this category, and resets are charged separately — budget for at least one.

How fast does HyroTrader pay out?

The firm advertises 1–3 days. That is its published window, not a measured result. See our payout comparison for how that ranks against the rest of the table.

What is the profit split at HyroTrader?

Up to 90%, with a maximum allocation of $400,000.
