Affiliate disclosure
How this site makes money, what we accept, and what we refuse.
Last updated 5 September 2026
The disclosure, in one paragraph
Best Crypto Prop Firm earns affiliate commissions. Some links on this site to crypto prop firms are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a challenge, we may receive a commission from that firm. This never costs you more than going direct, and in many cases you pay less because the link carries a discount code. We are not paid for reviews, for scores, or for position in any table.
Why this does not bend the rankings
Because the order is produced by a formula, not a judgement call. The five weighted criteria in our methodology are applied to every firm identically, before any commercial discussion. The practical test of whether that holds is simple, and you can run it yourself: firms that pay us nothing appear above firms that do. If that ever stops being true, the claim on this page is worthless.
What we accept
- Affiliate commission on challenges purchased through our links.
- Discount codes we can pass to readers, which we publish whether or not they are tracked.
What we refuse
- Payment for a review, a score, or a position in a table.
- Free or comped challenge accounts. We buy every account we test at full price.
- Pre-publication approval, or any right of a firm to edit our copy.
- Payment to remove criticism, or to delay a delisting.
- Sponsored content presented as editorial.
How affiliate links are marked
Outbound links to prop firms carry rel="sponsored nofollow" and, where the platform
allows, route through /go/ so they are identifiable. Pages containing affiliate links
carry a disclosure in the body of the page, adjacent to the content it relates to — not buried in
the footer.
Regulatory basis
This disclosure is made in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, and with the UK Competition and Markets Authority's guidance on hidden advertising. If you believe a page on this site carries an undisclosed commercial relationship, tell us and we will correct it.
Risk
Nothing on this site is financial advice. Trading leveraged crypto derivatives carries a high risk of loss, challenge fees are generally non-refundable, and most participants never reach a payout. We are not a licensed adviser, broker or prop firm.
